At Hooymans Substrates, a leading producer of compost and substrate for mushroom cultivation, you will play a crucial role as a Supply Chain Planner in optimizing logistics processes. You will ensure efficient transport scheduling and act as the main point of contact for customers and drivers.
What will you be doing?
As a Supply Chain Planner, you are responsible for daily transport scheduling, sea freight documentation, and inventory management. You act as the link between production, transport, and customers, ensuring optimal alignment between supply and demand.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Scheduling daily routes for the in-house fleet
- Handling documentation and export of sea containers
- Maintaining customer contact and monitoring delivery progress
- Guiding and instructing drivers
- Preparing staff schedules in collaboration with supervisors
- Managing inventories and planning various product flows
- Checking invoices and employees’ worked hours

Job Requirements:
- Completed MBO+ / HBO education
- Uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels in woord en geschrift
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Experience with customer interaction and transport planning
- Strong organizational skills with problem-solving abilities
